Affordable artist live/work space has been created within a historic hotel located in downtown Providence. Working closely with a not-for-profit arts organization, DBVW created small, affordable residential units that are complemented by shared amenities, such as a print studio. On the ground floor, a historic bar has been carefully restored and a new restaurant has moved in. Exterior work included restoring decorative terra cotta elements.
